Was reading through my sourcebook and as I'm painting my rangers, I thought it would be nice to play the Ambush in Ithilien scenario.

Only, I had some questions while reading it.
It says the good forces include Faramir, Damrod, Madril.
Does Faramir have his bow? I'd think yes, seeing he's ranger Faramir at that point. If so, Faramir+bow/Damrod/Madril cost 150 points, as much as you're allowed to spend on your other troops.
Crazy coincidence, right?

Does the 1/3rd bow count limit apply in this scenario? Because that would be a bummer. It would be great fun to field an all ranger army, that's the most thematic army imo.
I guess the rule does apply, and you'd have to field WoMT as well?

So, the Mumak and Chieftain count as one, that's logical.
But the objectives state that when leaving the table, the Mumak and all its passengers count as one, which seems a bit unfair.
I haven't played this yet, so maybe this isn't as unfair as I think it is.
So am I right if I state that this;
1st wave has 20 models
2nd wave has Mumak+Chieftain + 12 warriors in the howdah + 7 warriors

is a legit starting list (not counting points)

If you'd leave the table with your Mumak and crew intact, you'd be leaving with 13 models but because of the Objective rules you are in fact leaving with 1 model. Doesn't this make it nearly impossible to win if you deploy that many models in the howdah?

Or does the Mumak+Chieftain+12models count as 1 from the beginning?
In that case, your 2 waves would look like this;(?)
1st wave 14 warriors
2nd wave Mumak+Chieftan+12models + 13 warriors

I'm a bit confused, and I hope I stated my questions clearly.
I'm sure someone has the answers to my questions.
Thanks in advance!

I'm sorry I don't really have Answers but I'm here just to sy modify the scenario to now you and your opponent best feel works. Of course I believe Far amir should have a bow. Have fun!
