No , I do not think you are.

Old gamers don't like change.but there is no point worrying about it.
I will look forward to the next few years. Then we will see.

the Hobbit movies will supposedly include events from the Return of the King Appendices, which could mean releases for Dol Guldur, young Strider/Denethor/Theoden/etc...

In order to bolster some enthusiasm for the game GW really needs to reduce their prices. I see no reason to ever buy anything from their site as things are, simply put. The new releases are nice, however.

Using myself as an example, I have never even opened a WotR rulebook. It seems to me that the system is just too open to power gaming, has become an arms race, and is only loosely based on Middle Earth.
Warhammer gamers might love an 'unstoppable' model but I think most LotR gamers love the theme more.

"I have never even opened a WotR rulebook."

What about that statement would lead a prudent and reasonable person to believe in your credibility?

Don't take this personally but you need to really think about how some of this stuff comes out..
Would you take a book reviewer seriously who began I never opened the book?

GW bashing is pointless. If you want to play something else fine. Why come to the LOR site if you don't like the game?

He properly plays SBG, not WOTR. And it isn't just gamers on this site. Some people just collect and/or paint the models. :)

This seems kinda harsh, he doesn't review the book, he just states his opinion. Which is why this is a discussion forum.

I should have noted, yes, I do play the original Strategy Battle Game. By monitoring these forums, reading all the GW Adobe files I can find on their website, and comparing WotR profiles relative to others I find, I have come to my stated opinion.

I may a GW 'bashing' but shouldn't their objective be to make as much money from a consumer like me? I'm offering them suggestions on how they could do that best.

Constructive criticism is not bashing. Your current post makes much more sense.
I will make much more effort not to be bent out of shape.
