Got 6 Riders with no horses in an auction. The Rohan horses I do have seem a bit on the small size. Can anyone recommend a horse (preferably cheap and plastic) that is going to be of similar size to my original rohan horses. Seems like WGF and Warlord have some options, but I don't know the sizes.

Thanks!

Another option would be the Perry horses: https://www.perry-miniatures.com/produc ... sub8q9j4q6

Here's a Warlord Games horse (with Heroes of Helm's Deep Legolas, plastic Wood Elf and Mirkwood Knight)

Thanks for the feedback folks.

Jdizzy, or anyone have pics of the Warlord horses with LotR figs?

Coenus,
Thanks for the pics, they do look great and spot-on for size. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised given the Perry's LotR work.

Missed this the first time round, but note that the pictured plastic horse is from Warlord Games, not Perry. Can do a Perry comparison soon, for while the topic may be old, others may find it back at a later date.

Bottom guy is a Mirkwood Knight, although the helmet has been altered a bit.

And the promised extended comparison picture. Perry horses are a tad larger, as is fitting for late medieval, heavy warhorses. Should look fine, especially on heroes or other metal figures (who tend to be a bit bigger as well). Beautiful kit. 3 left halves, 3 right halves and 4 head options (one of which has a bit of armour), all of which can be used in any combination.

Left to right: Perry (medieval), Warlord Games, Perry again, GW Mirkwood Knight

Ah very handy - should do well for ensuring not everyone is riding Rohan or Minas horses :)
