Hiya

Just a link to my LotR SBG website, it's still very much a work in progress at the moment but there's a few picture of my painted miniatures in the gallery. I'm planning to be adding more stuff like photos my home built terrain and Battle Reports etc.

Looking for feedback and suggestions on the content and the look and feel of the design..

link

Thank you

J

Looks like a very nice layout for the website, the colour scheme works really well and fits in nicely with the Lord of the Rings side of things and also is very easy going on the eyes :)

All in all it's a nice website :)

Hi

have just upload some photos of my completed Deeping wall sections to my site, including the culvert and breached sections. I just used the guide in The Two Towers Journeybook.

Just click here and follow the link from the homepage....

Thank you

J

p.s I haven't got any of my Rohan painted yet so it's left to Aragorn and Gimlin to defend the walls.

p.p.s Is it ok to post my site updates here? If not i won't post anymore.

:)

Keep the site updates coming - deeping wall looks great, lovely detail!! best hurry up and get some rohirrim and elves painted up - I don't fancy Aragorn and Gimli's chances holding the wall for that long against the waves of uruks that are about to crash down upon them!!

Great work man, and fantastic deeping wall. Keep the updates coming. How did you create your site? was it using html or the wysiwyg system? Looks fantastic anyhow, wouldn't mind a trying to make a site myself. Who is your host provider as well?

It's put together with an old version of Frontpage with some html and java I've added myself... If you don't want to go to the trouble of creating a site yourself a lot of guys here are using Blogspot which is a really good "bloging" site... :)

I've added a new feature to my site, a quick flick thro' the new look White Dwarf. The video doesn't give too much away, no more than if you thumbed through the edition in store. You'll find it on the link from the main page here

I'm interested to know whether you think it's a useful edition or not? If so I'll post similar videos for future issue...

Thank you :)

Have posted a few pics of my "One Ring" Objective Marker on my site. Unfortunately I can't take credit for the idea as it's very similar to one I saw on line somewhere...

The gallant Rangers take and hold the "One Ring" Objective located in the ruins....

Sorry guys but yet another notification of an un-boxing of Escape from Goblin Town, though I have just added a Forces of Evil page which has lots of close up photos of the Goblin models and will be shortly adding a similar Terrain and Forces of Good pages... There's also a quick stop review of the hardback rule manual...

Thank you

Have created a Resources Page on my site and begun to add some PDFs of the Assembly Guides (just Treebeard at the moment but could add others) that are included in some of the kits, useful or not? Perhaps for those that have picked the kick up from Ebay?

Thanks

I looked through all your reviews, even the ones for modles I alraedy own and I quite like what you have to say. Except the first line about the rolls; they are one of only 3 Hobbit sets whiach are actually good value and not too expensive (the others being EFGT and Eagles) Compare buying 2 Mordor/Isengard Trolls - and do not count the spare parts as better value - even if you sculpt another body, you still need to buy the putty and put effort into it.

I was actually meaning as an initial outlay, but good point about comparing the price to two Mordor Trolls... I will amend the first sentence to reflect that..

I picked up two sets of the Great Eagles yesterday and they are pretty awesome, will post a review when I can :)

Thank you.

Hama looks really nice. The only downer is the basing, I would paint the sand. But other than that, great job on him!

Thank you for the comment :) The base has been painted, perhaps the colours I use are to close to actual sand but there is a basecoat and two drybrushed highlights... Maybe the photo doesn't show the base to it's full effect...
