here's my 'Horn of Gondor' projecty thing:




The front:



Its just under half a metre and it makes a pretty good deep sound if you blow it right (I play the cornet) .

I am also going to make a strap for it once I get some leather

its 100% real horn

all you need is:
a drill
A horn (quite hard to come by)
and a hack saw
sandpaper

You should get foil, plate it with silver trimming, and spray enamel to harden it to give it some edge
