Difficult choice... I'm going for Uruk-hai: their only real weakness is their expensive points cost, but you can overcome this by take Orcs as well.

I almost picked Dwarves, they again only have one weakness, their slow move, but that's harder to counter than the Uruk-hai's points cost.

The northen kingdom of Arnor is different from the realm of Angmar which is ruled by the Witch King.

I voted for Moria.

The amount of diversity Harad offers a player is phenomenal, they have cheap troops, plenty of elites, and some cool heroes. Their only real weakness is low defence, but thats to be expected when you spend your whole life in the burning sun.

Isengard has the best infantry in the game. they also have calvary in the warg riders. then theirs the berserkers, enough said. their is also crossbows scouts and some very powerful heroes in Lurtz, Saruman, Vrashku, Sharku, and Ugluk.

Warg riders are really (IMO) worth their points in my experiences unless fielded in huge numbers. Lurtz is really not that good, 3 mt. is nice, yeah, but he is still fairly weak with d5 w2 and a2. Isengard have no proper fighter heroes.

You'll be glad to know it is an official army list.

Shame it isn't an option...

Lurtz's strength of 5 is great though. he's great for slaughtering calvary and infantry.

Actually, the charge is part of movement if your model is 6" away from the enemy it can move 5" then it has it's 1" charge.

It's only a 7" charge, but if you add (you should consider converting one Karvag) a drummer it's a 8" charge...

that depends on what you mean by the best. elves are more skilled in fighting and archery, dwarves are quite tougher than uruk-hai, and human cavalry is generally better. then there's khazad guard and GotGC, also enough said. As for heroes, classic movie characters are generally better than the isengard ones. Gandalf the white is better than saruman with magic, boromir is better than Lurtz, and Dain is not too shabby either.

I'll stop there. :-D
