Hey all, after recently getting the Forlong and Angbor blister I've decided to go back on my decision to skip over the Men of Lamedon in my Gondor force.

Having decided this, I still don't like the GW colour scheme (which was my original reason for leaving them out) so I need to come up with a new one. Now, warriors from Lamedon are never described as "Clansmen" in Tolkein's works. Some, however, are described as "Hillmen." Can anyone put forward some basic ideas for a colour scheme?

I don't like the GW colours either - I am thinkin of basing the colour scheme on the Scots in Braveheart. Fairly easy to do ( I hope)

My whole Gondor army is in red colours, the clansmen I have are also painted in red, without the tartan momentarily.

That sounds like a good idea. I heard a historian once describe the Scots' costumes in Braveheart as being like if a historian had found a 20th Century business suit, but had his characters wearing it backwards and inside out. So, that puts it in the realms of fantasy for me...
