Hi,

Great work! I'm your fan!
I used your guide to guide me through my quest of collecting the miniatures of LotR.
However, I have some questions:
- The Uruk-hai scout captain with two handed weapon (page 133) was really released? I never so the miniature anywhere.
- Same question for the Mordor Uruk-hai (Limited) in page 149.
- The Mahud warrior with sword (the second one, with the white things in the head, in page 121), isn't it a conversion? I bought 5 blisters of the mahuds warriors, and never got that one (and never saw it unless in the GW photo)
This three miniatures are the only ones that are missing in my collection (if they really were released).

Also, I saw that you don't have some sprues pictures. I have the sprues for the uruk-hai scouts, rangers and the deads. If you're interested that I take some pictures for you, just send me a message explaining how should I do that.

(sorry about my english, I'm brazilian)

The mahud was definitely produced. I've seen a couple on ebay. The other two, I'm not sure. :)

There are a couple of missing sprue pictures that are now on the GW website. The new twelve man boxes also have non-overlapping pictures of the army of the dead plastics. I've copied them below:

This is a Great guide, thank you for putting the time in!

Also does anyone have a full list of GW available miniatures in Word format or similar?

Cheers

very nice! 8)

few sub-atomic errors
- lobelia now also comes in 'hobbits of the shire'
- saruman (white council) is availible seperately
- shagrat is also now availible seperately

so very, very, very minor quibbles

Oh my! This is an incredible reference source. My compliments to you, and thanks for your efforts. The download link appears to be broken, though. New version coming?

A couple of things that could be handy that I thought of while I was browsing:

- A couple of simple codes for Plastic, Metal, and FC and what the figure has been, and is currently available as.

-some of the pages were a little confusing with the multi part plastic kits (eg the Mordor/Isengard Troll) as to what variations are actually from the box and what are different kits. I think from memory that particular page has a separate figure at the top of the page and the rest are variations from the multi part box.

- a hotlinked table of contents would be awesome!

-Please, please, please can you edit the post on the first page of this thread when you do an update instead of posting down in the thread. Links are so easily lost this way.

I'd be happy to help out with additions and editing if you need another pair of eyes and hands. I imagine this is a bit of a bugbear to keep updated.

Hi And thank you so much.Your work is invaluable. Would it be possible to include all the various box sets and different box cover art. Especially all the different metal sets like Breaking of the Fellowship, Attack at Amon Hen, Heroes of the West and all of those.
I understand that it is a lot of work. But if anyone can do it....it's you. Thanks again.

By the way, is Grishnakh still in the Isengard section and not Mordor?

Grishnakh? Thanks. I'll correct it.

Yes, I need pictures. ;)
I need pictures about the plastic sprues of the Balrog, the Mumak and the Fell Wargs. Pictures about the painted dead orcs from the Ent box, and pictures taken from the bare metal or the painted version of the unreleased or limited minis, that are not in the guide yet (White Numenorean, Orc Drummer, Queen Beruthiel, Barrow Wights X 2, Young Aragorn, Elf Banner Bearer, Wood Elf Captain with Spear).
Thanks. :)
