Well I'm happy to go through all the plastic mini's and make some lists for you and do some work on finding the necessary pictures. I'm just curious as to what the remit is for the sprues so I'm not listing any you don't intend to feature?

This one is an absolute nitpick, but I discovered it yesterday when ticking off some new miniatures

In the Arwen miniatures (the two first only actually), there is a typo, it says "nad" instead of "and"

It does not help to improve this amazing work, I know, but I noticed it yesterday.

Do you have a list of sprues you need? And what kind of photo? I doubt I can do the quality of the ones from the GW site.

I had a little time and looked through the book trying to spot missing sprues I might have. Other than the Mines of Moria terrain sprue above, the only sprue I think I might have is the Fellowship plastic sprue from The Mines of Moria.

Which had me wondering—The One Ring marker from that sprue. Is it listed in the guide anywhere?

And there was a Ring on the Ruins of Middle-earth sprue as well.

Hi miniman, first thank you so much for your work on the collectors guide.

A small correction of the guide
These models of the crew have never been for sale, they are conversions.

There is only one model of the ballista. i sent a email to GW and they confirm there is one model only.

And another question, rohan royal guard, i see miniatures with swords why in the guide no?

Again thanks for your work :yay:

The guide includes all rare unreleased models. The alternate ballista crew were pre production prototypes and feature in several official GW catalogue publications so they did exist but are incredibly rare. They do differ from the eventual mass produced crew although it took a long time for GW to update their website and catalogue pictures to reflect the change.

Rohan Royal guards all come with alternate sword arms so should be in the guide, I agree.

Hello, I am looking for a complete Excel inventory of figures, that follows the same structure/order as the Collector's Guide.

I have started several excel inventories throughout the years, but I did not like the layout I did on them.

I think the best, since the guide is the most complete source, would be an inventory that goes according to the guide.

Does anyone have anything like this?

I started doing one, copying the Collector's guide index from PDF to Excel, but I am stuck there. Im not sure what columns to include, how to organise it (1 page per section: dwarves, elves, men, orcs/goblins, etc).

If anyone would like to contribute, feel free to hit me up on direct message or Discord since its easier to chat and send files. My discord: Pablo#3248

Thank you

What a beautiful guide of LOTR models.
Will it be updated, because I love it and would like to see it with the new models that heave been released last year!

If needed I offer my help in editing the document.

Would be really great if anyone could take over updating this awesome guide.

I totally understand if Miniman can't or doesn't want to update it anymore, but it would be a shame to not continue this.

Unfortunately I don't have the skills to do so.

Maybe it's possible to make the checkboxes checkable inside the PDF?

SBG Inventory is great to keep track of a collection but only this guide has the pictures of every mini!

Sorry for disappearing, but I'm back with the latest version, 9.0.
I couldn't update everything, but I'm trying to be up to date.

Hello Miniman,

Thank you for the hard work you've put into this guide. I have one question. I am trying everything I can think of to be able to mark the box associated with each entry to indicate my ownership of the item or my interest in acquiring it. The .pdf is locked up so tight that no marking is possible.

Am I missing something? Is there a change that can be implemented to allow for tracking one's collection?

Hi!

I'm sorry I forgot about the chechboxes. Please wait for the next version, I will try to make these usable.

Cheers,
Miniman

A big tank you for creating and maintaining this list!

A small question, can you explain the meaning of the things between {

For example
Aragorn King of Gondor Mounted
{Aragorn King of Gondor Foot and Mounted},
{Aragorn the King}, {Aragorn (The Black Gate)}

Thanks
