An article about how to make a mordor army look mordor on an easy way. Or any other Mordor-Gondor painting guides with not more then one or two highlights... I don't know to highlight so... A guide about the basics of advanced painting would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hej,

I've recently purchased the GW Mumak and Winged Nazgûl. I was wondering if someone could provide me with a painting guide for these models.
Thanks in advance!

Check my WIP Mumak Diorama. If you like what I've done I can let you know - it does take a while though !!!

Gandalf the Grey,

your WIP Mumak Diorama looks great! I would really appreciate some tips about how you started and which colours you used.
I'm not worried about time as long as I can work in stages (only modelling time during the weekends).
Are you planning on applying some war paint on the mumak? That would be one of my ultimate goals :-). That is if I ever finish the model :D.
Thanks for the tip about the diorama and hopefully for the following advice on how to start painting my mumak!

If anyone could make a goblin painting guide that would be great. I doesnt need to be high level or anything, I have 78 companies of goblins (a bit over 600 of them!) and majority arent painted or are dont poorly (bought them all off ebay). so a guide that shows how to do a decent paint job in a reasonable amount of time, not high detail, doesnt use tons of different paints.
a guide for the average joe who has alot to paint
:)

I'm looking for a guide rather than requestion one - ages ago I remember reading a walkthrough on an Isengard uruk where the guy painted a white hand device on the shield and then weathered it, does anyone remember this and/or know where it is? I thought it was in the archives here but it doesn't seem to be.

Hello!

I would like to request a painting guide for the new plastic Morgul Knights, preferably in the original GW colors.
I've searched everywhere in the net on how to paint them at no avail. I know that there's a painting guide for the new plastic
Knights of Dol Amroth on WD issue #365 but has GW printed a guide on the plastic Morgul Knights in other WD issues yet? How about on the net?

Please help!

I'll write up a guide when I get around to painting mine, but that might be a while

Has anyone painted Bormir Captain of Gondor, withe the spiffy white banner? I could do with a bit of help painting all that area of white so it looks convincing.

Hello, I don't know whether this will get noticed seen as previous replies were a while ago. Have just started up the hobby again after an absence of several years. I am undertaking some painting of unmade minatures (namely Corsair of Umbar) and my very first minature (metal Balrog).
I have notcied that rather helpfully GW have taken down most of the paint guides for some reason best known to themselves and I did happen accross some achieved paint guides the other day and can't find them again!
I would really appreciate a paint guide on Corsairs or the Balrog if anyone has them. Thanks!

I found one here from Bizzarewarstar on his blog, I'm sure it should help you out as it's quite detailed.

I think that we could probably use a good one on Tartans for the clansmen. I will see if I can work on it. Who would we send a write up to ~ Brian
