So, the first episode of Marvel's Agents of Shield aired. I was wondering if anyone on here has seen it and/or is planning on seeing it/ the show.

I myself like what I've seen so far, apart from a few scenes that felt too cheesy and some bad acting. Definately something I intend on following every episode.:)

I watched it! I was really looking forward to it and thoroughly enjoyed it!
I think/hope they are going to bring Hydra back in this series

Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad have certainly ruined my TV watching experience: they have set an incredibly high standard!

Acting was *really* bad (minus Coulson), action was lackluster, jokes were being tossed around every 10 seconds and none of them were funny…

I know it was only a pilot but I expected much, much more. Especially from Whedon.

Here’s hoping it gets much better.

(For the sake of comparison I thought the “Arrow” pilot was much better).

I liked it, but I didn't have real high expectations. To me it's a super-hero story, some cheese is expected lol

Agreed. As long as you look at it as a playful mini-superheroteam going on not so credible missions it's all good. :)

Oh and I really really like all the links and hints they made to the movies, even tying it in with Iron Man 3. I missed that in said movie.

It will be on Channel 4 9pm in the UK. I might watch it if I am not up to any alternate skulduggery. I still think Firefly and Serenity are JW's best work.

I really like it, expected it to be a lot less good but after seeing a couple episodes I find I actually like it a lot!

It always reminds me of an old show called primeval, poor acting and seems quite cheap compared to any avenger movie which is understandable but still I think actors from Eastenders would fit this series, since stopped watching it

I wanted to like this show but I can't stand it. The dialogue makes my ears bleed and the concept was poorly executed.

Wow! I won't post spoilers but what a great season Finale. I'm glad I stuck around through the cheesy-er first episodes because they really developed something here

It certainly improved at the series progressed, I am also glad I stuck with it. Be interested to see how this ties in with the future movies as well.

I think I know most of the "missing links" but we'll certainly see

Agreed, the final episode was a huge improvement over pretty much all the rest. Goosebumps for the first time.

Goosebumps: a cunning way of slowing speeding geese :)

I have only seen snippets of the rest of MAoS - too many other things to do.

I liked the show and am anticipating season 2 and agent carter not to mention the netflix shows coming in 2015. It did not really get good until turn, turn, turn. But I liked it after that.
