Being on this site for 2 weeks now I've really gotten back into my LOTR fanmode. Thanks to you all for that ;)

i found some of my old sketches from high school (that awkward moment when all my drawings are on the back of my flash cards and homework assignments.... lol)

enjoy!

random stuff from the back of homework. ignore the randomly placed space shuttle engine.
the green paper is saruman's throne in orthanc
random index card is a siege of a gondorian structure
other stuff's pretty self explanatory.

Rammas, this is great stuff! You've really got a eye for architectural detail. The Steward's Hall piece is fantastic.

This is excellent! Have you checked out any of John Howe's books on fantasy art? I wish I had your talent....

@telchar:drawing is also a skill that needs lots of practice... :) u can't expect it to go just like that. But ye some are quicker and better. :)
