Just found this new trailer for the upcoming Ultramarines movie.

I look forward to watch it! The animation look a lot more refined now.

I don't like the look of it, such a shame when you see the movies of Dawn of War 2 etc, they look so much better than this..

hmm I'm kind of mixed on this, from what I've seen from the trailer anyway. Some parts look quite good, but then some parts look a bit cheesy. My opinion tho, don't shout at me :o

I agree. Also, it looks pretty violent, which is unusual for an animation.

Yeah, I'm in agreement with you there. It actually just looks more like a crazy video game. Graphics weren't very good for a film. And it looks like it's going to be very splatty (gasps of surprise).

I think if they did a good story line, and a realistic movie with actual actors & computerized stuff it could be big.. but otherwise no for me.

The blood and fighting looks pretty cool but as an actual film its looks a bit meh. Better as a video game sort of intro rather than a movie but lets see how it goes.

Frankly, I think it is rubbish. The animation is low standard even for a tv station weekly episode output and I am willing to guess that the storyline could have been written by a nine year old (no offence intended to any young people but we do expect a little bit more depth and characterisation). It does look like an in-game movie... and they have some considerable acting talent in there - it has no prospect of shining in such a schlocky medium.

I can say this with a heavy heart as I have a LOT of Ultramarines... the trailers are pretensious and yet fail to disguise the lack of investment in the movie.
