Hi folks. Like many of you, while I marvelled at the Forgeworld Smaug, it was not a practical proposition for me on several grounds. However something has appeared recently that might just hit the spot.
Mythic Games has a kickstarter called Time of Legends: Joan of Arc. The minis are 15mm scale. So what, says you. Well, the dragon measure 54cm wingtip to wingtip.... that is 540mm.... 21 and a quarter inches. For a pledge of $60 plus shipping (so the total cost depends on where you live). The mini (how inappropriate a term for one so magnificently HUGE) will ship late 2018 along with the rest of the kickstarter so patience is called for.
There are images of it online - just search for Joan of Arc dragon - the painted version is just amazing. The wings detach so the entire beastie can be carried around in a 20cm cube.
Beasts of War have articles and play-throughs of the game - scroll down to see the painted dragon making humans look absurdly puny.

Looks amazing! The beasts of war YouTube channel have been banging on about this game for months.

That dragon is really cool. I've been looking at Reaper's kickstarter, they've got a nice sized dragon there too and some other goodies I'd like to buy for the just released Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago rule set.
