Post subject:  Looking for the hobbit and thoughts about Tolkiens world

Hi guys,

first of all I would like to recommend you "Looking for the hobbit" documentary series if you have not seen it yet.

I have watched couple of episodes and as a fan of Tolkien I really love it.

But some time after that I though how much we and SBG are missing from the world created by Tolkiem. And its not even about some old-times events discribed in Sirmarillion or this or that guy that was in a book and not in the movie. Actually I have found that how I perceive Middleearth is nothing alike mithology that Middleearth was based on. I think after the movies somehow everything became ... settled?

When I think about which way SBG could go now, restoring some mysticism and "saga" like gameplay would be a great direction. I find it more truethful to Tolkiens books.

And yes, I love Battle companies project :P It should put some more emphasis on scenarios and gameboard maybe, but I find it much more Tolkien-ish to play SBG that way ;)

What are your thoughts?
