So I have had a thought and wondered if it would be interesting if; in a game of battle companies, you took it in turns to move a model each and it alternated back an forth until each had activated every model. Priority would decide who got to move first as normal and you place a counter next to 'activated' models. Perhaps as a balancing idea; each player may only activate the same amount of models, this reduces the benefit of bigger warbands. say 2d6 per turn?
A charged model is immediately activated but does not reduce the amount of models available to that player to activate that turn. A model must be activated in the movement phase in order to shoot in the shooting phase, however they do not have to move, just have to be activated.
Any thoughts?

Anyone else like to share a way they think could be interesting to play?

I really like the rules from immortal dark age war gaming. Damage is a static number but if a model is hit, they are permitted an armour save
