Excellent, look forward to seeing it, what are you going to paint.

Today i spent 6 hours painting Warriors of Dale, and still way off finishing.

Today I striped my Wood Elf Warriors and fixed any broken parts on them. And despite haven forbidden myself to buy anything new for the moment (having just bought half of the new Mirkwood sets after all...) in order to buy an the old Legolas Mounted figure that just came along too cheap to pass on by.

Everything eventually haha. Well, I intend on collecting at least 500 point armies of each of the factions represented in the films, and then some of the more collectible bits e.g. sauron and isildur, ambush at amon hen etc.
However I'm starting with an "eregion" themed force which contradicts what i just said as rangers of the north arent seen in the films haha.
But basically its going to be some rangers lead by halbarad and then some rivendell elves.

Painted a lot of things.

Thought about what sort of projects I should do in 2015 (between real life commitments). Was able to tell myself that one of the armies stolen from me is within sight of being replaced. Wrote some gaming content that eventually I will format.

Does yesterday count? :)

Yesterday I bought the Escape From Goblin Town set. Hoping to split the models with a friend so he can get hooked.. uh, started on the LOTR hobby too. :E

Also ordered the Fallen Realms book because I am looking to start Harad.

As far as today, painting up some Hunter Orcs on Fell Wargs!

Fun stuff.

Purchased:

1x Men of Dale
2x Hunter orcs
1x Hunter orcs on wargs
2x Fell Wargs
1x Grimhammers

Which almost rounds off the figures required for my battle of the five armies display board, just need 1 armoured mirkwood swords blister to finish my Mirkwood army then waiting on new releases to see what I need to do with my Dol Guldur army as I need roughly 50 more figures.

Buying Eomer to round off my Rohan heroes, as well as buying a wash for my new elves and then applying it by painting 3 of them! As well as doing the painting at my local GW to show that there is support for Hobbit SBG in this area!

Read article on 'tale of painters' site for Bifur the Dwarf, book marked it since I am painting him now. Connected with a unknown game group in my area that apparently plays LOTR but has not heard of this site before and only just found TLA recently (kind of expected this site to be only rarely known in US circles, perhaps we need to reach out more). Sculpted a tree stump for an orc archer to be poised on (the orc is from the BoG kit and is squatting so it is perfect).... and done my normal paint as much as I can with what time I can salvage. Oh, and replied to posts on here to add to this great community.

What an awesome post!

I sent some items I have traded over to the Netherlands! When they arrive, I will be getting sent a Scouring of the Shire set!

Tonight, I'm hoping to finish my 12 Grimhammers and do a little more on Balin. :)

Today I finished 12 Grimhammers, bought Galadriel, Celeborn and the mirror of Galadriel along with 12 Shirriffs.

I also started painting a Finecast Gollum, from the set with his wee boat and Bilbo in.

Didn't get a chance to do anything today, tied up with a Relics tournament and then decided to have a comfy night with the missus in front of the telly. :)

However, tomorrow, she's out with her friends so I am having a bumper-hobby day.

Although, today I did just confirm a trade for Brandobas Took and an army of the dead banner bearer.

Oh and I traded in a bunch of Warhammer Orcs at Slayer Gaming in return for a bumper pile of Hobbit miniatures.

So... I guess I did! haha! :gandalf:
