July Report Figures Bought None. Figures Painted 1 Dark Sword Miniatures Dwarf (niiiice model) (1pt) 1 evil artifact thing with dodgy symbology, Paizo Miniatures (1pt) 1 evil lich thing, Paizo miniatures (1pt) 1 evil mummy thing, Paizo miniatures (1pt) 1 Duergar warrior (Gale Force Nine Miniatures) (1pt) 3 Duegar soldiers (Wizards of the coast plastics) (3pts) 1 Duergar chieftain (WOTC) (1pt) 1 "Brain Eater" or something (Gale Force Nine Miniatures) (1pt) Bit of a disappointing month. I had hoped to purchase another three miniatures (Reaper Bones) and paint a total of 18 this month at least. Instead, I was super busy with class and other life committments. Worse the Paizo figures (got them cheap as part of a Free RPG Day sale) were odd little ducks to paint. They weren't terribly interesting or inspiring, but seemed to take ages. The Duergar were worse. The Duergar do represent the end of a painting project: I've now painted all the monsters and stuff from the three D+D Adventure System boardgames. There are four heroes left to paint from that set Two of the figures are from Gale Force Nine's official D+D range. These are highly detailed finecast-esque figures. Amazing, amazing detail. But shockingly fiddly to assemble and very delicate. August's painting starts with two of their Mindflayers, which I suspect will be a messy and annoying job too. After that, its back to the Hobbit/LOTR, with a pile o' Hobbits and Orcs needing attention. |

I note there has been no official update in scores for sometime and I understand the reason why. Is anybody else able to help out and do this? I'll have a go if nobody else is able to. |

My August report: A slow month for me. I was away or scenery building most of the month, and have half painted quite a lot but fully painted not much at all! I expect September to be a bonanza month, as I've already painted 20 models and have quite a few staring me in the face. In August I... painted a Ring Wraith on Fell Beast. bought nothing. |

I have failed utterly in my oath this month. Not only did I buy a lot of figures I was also gifted a very large unpainted collection by somebody who is dropping out of the hobby. I therefore bestow upon myself the "more like a grocer than a burglar" award and take the maximum negative score, -7 for me. |
