Hi all,

WhoElseButHaldir and I tihnk we should revive the War of the Ring discussion thread, so I'm advertising it here.

War of the Ring is a great game, so we should keep talking about it.

New players and more experienced players can learn tips and tactics, while the latter can give tips from their experiences and answer question that newcomers or potential War of the Ring players have asked.

Good one, play a game a week of wotr at 1200 points at Swindon and District Wargames (SAD Gamers for short) We are about to start a Campaign, around 4 to 5 players every week.
Have reading through the thread, it's good and well be great to see more content

Should we keep goin through the factions, or should we go through them again.

I'm pretty sure we haven't talked about most of the Evil factions yet. Then none of the units have been done individually. And you could also talk about combinations of units that are particularly often seen, how to play them and how to counter them.

We are about to start a campaign following the book/films using the best system for the scenario - SBG for smaller scenes and WotR for bigger battles... I love WotR, but haven't played this year, time to rectify that me thinks :-)
