Here's Yet Another Scouring of the Shire scenario, though no Ruffians this time: Battle of Greenfields:

Sounds like a nice and short scenario! Nice write-up.

I believe Bullroarer can only be taken with a Horse in this edition, so if it's not mentioned in the participants it's because it's already part of his wargear. Not sure why that is, but that would explain why it's not explicitly mentioned in the scenario.

This sounds like a pretty fun scenario to me as well. It is kind of nice how quick and decisive it played out since some of the previous scenarios you played seemed to lack decisive combats at times. As someone who does root for Good more than Evil, I was glad to see historically accurate results too :)

Thanks for the comments, guys.

Voyager360, you're right: a horse is standard wargear for Bullroarer. Nice catch!

I reviewed the STF Wargaming Studio's playthrough of this scenario (actually the older 2004 version of the scenario, but IIRC it's exactly the same except the Rangers aren't allowed to target Golfimbul with their pre-game Shooting). Spoiler: the Orcs win, fairly handily. The difference is the Good Shooting rolls were terrible, unlike in my playthrough where they were terrible also, but in a different, more Tolkienian sense of the word.
