I'm as excited about War in Rohan as anybody. But it hasn't arrived chez Townsend yet. So I've been continuing with my run through of Scouring of the Shire. Today's replay is Uprooting of Bagshot Row:

This is probably my last replay for 2019.

It's been a banner year for scenarios for me. I've managed 54(!) replays since starting the hobby, and 17 -- almost a third -- of them were done this year. It's greatly helped that the hobbity scenarios are both small and use figures & terrain which I've mostly already painted.

I hope to finish SotS up in 2020 and then figure out what to do next. I have a feeling that RaW will be adequately covered elsewhere. Although I thought that about SotS and Gondor at War, too....

Awesome work with all these battle reports! Honestly I'm as surprised as you are at the lack of battle reports based on the new supplements. Perhaps people are waiting until all the profiles in them have models? Though I do belief GaW is fully covered by now. For GaW I understand it'd be quite the investment in terms of buying and painting all the models required as well as all the terrain. Still, I'd have expected more people to rise up and share their plays with the world.

Reading your SotS playthroughs always gets me excited for playing through them myself. :-D

54 is an enviable number, Dave! You should be very proud of that accomplishment :yay: I enjoyed reading this report and this seems like a fairly thematic fight and the result probably fits the overall story of Scouring of the Shire which is a nice bonus too. You've been on a real tear with reports lately and I've enjoyed reading each one. I'll be curious to see what you decide to focus on next and will of course be looking forward to the reports as well!

Thanks, folks! I doubt 2020 will be as productive as 2019, but one never knows. I definitely want to try to finish all the Scouring scenarios (including the appendix scenarios).
