Nicely done, looking forward to you doing the Gondor at War version to see if it is more balanced.

Like how you switched out the Denethor and Gandalf models.

if you need a body on the pyre, you could always modify the Isildur or Elendil prone model from the Sauron set.

Thanks, Mapper!

Repurposing Elendil or Isildur isn't a bad idea, but I'd guess Faramir wouldn't have armor on. Maybe just repositioning the arms and legs on the Ranger of Ithilien version would work?

My pyre is probably too small for him anyway, unfortunately. I thought I was following the dimensions given in the book but either I mismeasured or they under-reported the size they used.

I thought the pyre looked pretty good.
Nice write up for the small scenario. It does seem like it the scenario could do with some tweekimg. The GoW one hit me as being a bit more creative but I don’t have it in front of me at the moment.
Looking forward to the next game. :)

I don’t really think you can class that as a good victory. They lost three times by the letter, their victory was illegal, but I suppose it’s only a game.

I think these might be the best photos you've had in a battle report yet, Dave! This was a fun read and I'll be curious to see if the Gondor at War version is any better.
