Quick, simple deathmatch with my giant eagles, or great eagles, still not sure what to call them!

Another great game. I'm surprised that the eagles did so well though, as they don't count as mounstrous mounts.....

Why would they be a mount?

Three wounds, defence 8, two attacks, high fight value, high strength, flying...
Not sure why you'd be surprised that they did well? Made sure they were mostly only fighting a couple of guys at a time, with such long range they initiated most attacks, great fun =)

All three eagles are Gamezone sculpts that my wife got for me. I think they were from Maelstrom games? I probably mention it somewhere on the blog back when I painted them, but I think that's right from memory!

Another awesome battle report, although not as exciting as the other ones as the haradrim got massacred. I still really like those eagles, could you remind us where you bought them from again? Are they metal? Are the trees with the small bases annoying as they fall over? (not the ones from Battlefield in a Box)

Eagle details above =)
Trees are actually pretty stable, though they are gradually being converted for greater stability - mostly they stay up unless your sleeve gets caught on them!
