Where's the best place to buy Green Stuff?

Post subject:  Where's the best place to buy Green Stuff?
I do a lot of sculpting at home and I often run out of Green Stuff. To keep buying this costs money. What I want to know if there's any sites that sell it cheaply and in several inches.

Currently, I buy it from either eBay (when I can find it cheap) or Gifts For Geeks. I haven't found any other sites, but to be honest, neither have I looked far.

Two other things also; where can I buy Brown Stuff? Can't seem to find it anywhere! :shock: Any stores that sell spare weapons such as shields, swords and axes? I know about eBob, but there's not a great range in there.

Any help given will be greatly appreciated. :D

For GS I'd just do eBay if I were you... as for the weapons gripping beast ones look good although I've never bought them myself.
I'm not sure about brown stuff...

Thanks for the link UKFB - very good value for the products from that site. Especially when you can get greenstuff at less than 25% of the price charged by some retailers. And we all need a little greenstuff, even idiots like me who don't sculpt but do have to patch up and disguise seams, plus the odd little teeny-weeny conversion.

No problem. Brown stuff comes in two separate blocks, as does the Green stuff sticks. As a sculptor, this was always preferable to the Green stuff ribbon, which always has a tiny bit of cured putty where the yellow joins the blue. If you ever wondered what that tiny hard lump in your mix was, it is the join. Best thing is to cut the join out before you mix the blue and yellow, thus eliminating the possibility of hard lumps in your Green stuff.

Thanks for the tip:) It also explains why some people prefer the separate green stuff sticks as the two components don't come into contact until they are mixed for use. Like I said, I only want it for filling gaps and very minor tweaks/conversions as I am no sculptor by any measure.

One tip I learned recently from a professional sculptor friend was to mix green stuff with equal parts of regular milliput. Mix the two types of putty separately at first and then mix the two lumps together - you get a sculpting mixture that has the best properties of both products.

And when it cures, it is rock hard and can be carved, filed, sanded and drilled.
