The site has been updated, in the Uk, alll of the old paints have gone and the new ones are up. Unfortunately I was having problems accessing but it has half-worked now so I have got some onfo. Unfortunately, the LotR, WFB and 40k aint sets have gone up to £22.50 and the painting set has gone up to £35. I can't conmfirm the LotR one though as I cannot access the page, nor can I confirm whether single paints have stayed the same or not.

I was able to see a couple of different paints, a dry, layer, and glaze, and they're the same price(if I'm remembering the old price correctly), and the same amount of paint as the formerly current paints.

Paints, no matter what kind, are all 2,30 GBP for a 12ml pot.
The uber mega hyper super giga paint set, with all 145 paints in a plastic case goes for 333 GBP.

Its not the paints themselves butt the whole of GW site, my MacAffee also says GW is not safe either, so it's just as well I did not log in.

Thanks for the price heads up. I do hope the lid stays open on the new paints, I hate propping it up.

They seem to be updating it right now... that's probably whats causing it.

The pots do like the same as the current ones, but they might have improved the lids. Dezartfox said they did, some posts above, and I really hope they did.
Still wish they completely changed to dropper bottles, but thats ok.

Unfortunatelly, the new paints are not perfect matches for the current ones. The offer close matches, but not perfect. Don't really care about it, as long as the paint is good, but it might bother people with full armies to paint. Probably they are close enough, though.

I think it was the computer actually, it works fine on my laptop.

They aren't perfect matches?

Damn GW, i am part way through severeral armies, luckily I have enough stocked to last for about half my backlog, I'll have to nab more old ones, even if the new pots do have better lids.

Here's a link to the conversion chart if anyone's interested. As it says, they aren't perfect matches, but close, I hope.

Yeah they've provided a conversion chart, but its not an exact match naturally, as the paint are all new, GW make them in their own factory now :)

The Moria goblin set is indeed £22.50, but considering a box of Moria Goblins is now £13.50, you're saving £9.40, and then you get a brush too! :) The best saving out of the three :D

I think its a bit too pricey for a starter set though. £18.50 was ok, that's under £20... but putting it above £20 is too high for some parents...

I prefered it when the Mordor Orc and WoMT starter sets were there and they cost £12.

You saved even more than £9.40 before.

Didn't they only contain those tiny pots though?

When they get them in I'll pick one up and follow the painting guide that's in it :)

About half the amount of paint they had, but they were cheap and that was good.

Do share your exploits.

Also, there are now far too many bloody paints to use, its annoying.

How come the spray paints still have the same names?

Yeah there are a lot.. But they're designed in a base-layer-layer-wash-etc style now, so colours are similar so you don't need to mix the paints as often, it's practically the system that EavyMetal use ;)

Sucks for me as I'm partially colourblind, I used to paint by name, now I'm screwed :-D

You'll have to revise the new names, or have orange-robed easterlings or somethong.

Same here, Red and brown, green and blue are the colours that I mix up and don't see right.
