Mac!
I always pegged you as the brainy academic, not leaving room for artistic flair, but I am seeing real talent in this article. There is so much, the painting, the novelty of the stairs, the putty work, the wooden gate, as well as the use of those flowers.

This guy looks brilliant. That coat looks so leathery, worn and weathered, his face has such character, and the stairs look like real old stonework.

All of that, photographed and detailed so very well. I certainly hope that there will be more articles from you Mac, lots more.

Elegant simplicity or simply elegant, explained clearly and logically. And the final piece has great character, echoing the rustic feel of the Shire. Thanks for showing us how!

Excellent article Miguel!

I really respect all the effort that you put into making that long step-by-step painting guide. The final result is beautiful.

A very well done, inspiring article. Congrats, mate and I hope to see more from you in the future!

Wonderful and very inspiring article, Mac. I like especially how thoroughly you described the scenic base, that's something that can be applied to other projects as well. Great job!
