Warhammer High Elves are getting new releases the same time as LotR Dwarf Holds and Misty Mountains. So I'm assuming that the memo corresponds to those releases, but it may very well be that LotR High Elves will receive some new additions soon as well, you never know.

Whafrog: I agree completely. I'd considered that point, but (as you said) he'd be a bit fat in the neck to effectively fight later (let alone repeat the swallowing on another hero!).

As Jamros said: Fantasy HEs are getting releases and WotR Dwarfs are getting releases, lol.

I like it, but not as a cave drake. Not at all as a cave drake.

I've got to say I'm extremely ecited about this drake. It looks like a great sculpt. 8)

Who knows, maybe I'll buy myself a new mini for the first time in 2 years. :)

I miss the feeling of: "Whoa I wonder if there's any cool scenario around him." I always got when expecting a new SBG sourcebook.:/
Miniatures had story of their own back then.

The drake looks great
I don´t like the first dwarves escpecially not the one with to axes
The dwarf with the book looks cool that´s Floi i guess
The goblins look interesting.
The guy who is carrying something is that a drum?
The other is he some sort of shaman?
More interesting goblins. I guess they are gundabads

Thanks for the pictures :D

I think the King's Champion in a better colour scheme would look awesome, but as is, I'm not sure, lol :D

The guy with the staff, I would presume is Floi Stonehand, although why he has a staff, I do not know :D

Another banner bearer, this one with a shield (which I believe banner bearers can't take....) with a spikey boss on it for a weapon. Seems to not fit in that well with the current Dwarf styling to me...

So, is it a 3 man box of Floi, Banner Bearer and King's Champion/Captain?

Moria get a new captain (the one with the cloak), shaman, drummer-boys and what I would presume are the Blackshields?

I think I'll be a little more excited when I see the models, but only if the prices are fair (unlike the plastic Fantasy High Elf boxes that just came out).

Thanks for getting us some pics ^^

They're mostly pretty standard. As I previously mentioned, the Cave Drake is the same price as the Winged Nazgul set (~4 Euro cheaper for EU) only thing people might baulk at is the King's Champion set, as it is more expensive than any of the current 'Commanders' three model sets. Blame that on it having two banners and a 60mm base I guess.

More pics here by the way:

I like the drum 'cause it's original, but other wise I don't like the Goblins much.

The Cave Drake:
-As a Dragon obsessed person, I will now definately need to buy 2 Drakes, the larger picture highlights how great it looks (and the little baby drake). The sculpt is excellent and is rather snake like (so that justifies its ability to eat people whole *nonm nom nom*) and it would look quite nice next to a Dragon, I may even give it some balrog wings and use it as another Dragon (because it looks so great). :)

Kings Champion Box set:
-The banners look nice but I'm not fond of their being three models (slightly TOO 40k like) on the base because those banners would make a great addition to a formation.

-The Kings Champion...well...uh...(tries to think of comment that is not too nasty)...it just doesn't look 'mighty enough' for the profile he is given in the WotR Rulebook. He would look great as a Iron Guard Captain (but he would be an expensive one at that).

Floi Stonehand Blister Pack:
-No complaints, great sculpt, looks how I imagined he would look. Most importantly he is holding a book which makes him easy to recognise and the staff is pretty neat.

Gundabad Blackshields:
-They look quite interesting, the ability for them to have a spear AND a shield will probably make me convert a lot of my plastic spearmen to have shields (so I can use them as additional blackshields). I quite like the sculpts, they aren't as nice as the Prowlers but they look 'elite' enough. It's also quite reasuring to see what I can base my conversions on.

Gundabad Command:
-The Good: The drummer, a nice action pose and he is heavily clad in armour The what appers to be a captain looks pretty neat. The Odd: the 'Drum', for some reason I find the drum carrier quite comical but I do like the uniqueness of the model. And The Ugly: The Shaman/creature/staff carrying thing. It just looks weird, the other 2 shaman sculpts look SO much better and more battle ready. The original Shaman (with its heavier armour) would suit being part of the Blackshields more than the bizzare looking shaman that comes with the command.

Well, thats only my opinion...

I think the drake looks really cool. Everything else looks "okay" to "ridiculous." I have a Moria Goblin army so I'm not outright saying I won't buy any of this, but, right now, I doubt it.
