Absolutely beautiful Nevinsrip, as usual. SuperTrees eh? Not heard of these before and I must look them up.

Edit, 30 seconds later: Damn, they are an illegal import into Australia since they are plant material.

Glad to read that you are still with us. For a minute there I was thinking "I go away for a while and as soon as I get back, people leave!"

How (If) may I order fron unreleased miniatures without having to use Facebook? I ask this since i do not use that evil invention , and I don't have the least intention of doing it in the foreseeable future... Would it be possible to order via e-mail?? Yes, this is the only way they are currently a...

It's sad to see you leave after such a long and rewarding time in the hobby.\ - I wish you all the best in your future gaming directions.

We would be happy to help you value your collection.

(Oh, by the way, LOTR minis make great D&D models - I speak from experience)

Hi everyone. Now that we're back and reasonably stable, I will be re-introducing the various features of the One Ring - the chatbox, the article library, the gallery, please a few other, less-well-known things. To do that, I will need to put the site into 'admin mode' from time to time. Please have ...

Thanks guys for showing your appreciation. This community means a lot to a very large section of the hobby community and seeing it out of action for so long is a bit heartbreaking. I know it took me a long time to get it back again, but I was trying really hard not to lose the incredible wealth of i...

Hi everyone and welcome back to the One Ring. As you can see, I've managed to get the site back without losing any forum posts or memberships, but please note: Some parts of the site won't work just yet! The extra features Iwe all enjoy are all uninstalled currently (gallery, article library, chatbo...

Still working on it. I'm installing a fresh version of the forum software on a test site and seeing if it works ok on iPads and smartphones. If so, then that tells me we have something corrupted on our installation. If not, then the basic forum software itself is at fault. EDIT: Ok, I have installed...

I've upgraded the forum software to the latest greatest version, but it still hasn't fixed the underlying problem. There are a few more things I can try though, but in the meantime I've turned off the home page (it seems to be the root cause of the problems). Fixing this is taking a while and, well,...

Hi all, I am going to be shutting the site down at some point today (Sat 5th Sept) while I attempt to fix the issue. I don't actually know what is wrong, but I'm starting off by bringing the forum software up to date. Hopefully that will resolve it, but if not it's still something that needed doing ...

Does anyone here do WWII in 20mm (1:72 scale)? I've always been a big fan of 28mm stuff, but I've been looking at the vast range of vehicles out there in 1:72 scale and begun thinking I could probably get into it in a big way. And then a friend of mine asked me to develop an online store for his ran...

More and more visitors to the site are using tablets and cell phones these days and unfortunately, the Registration page doesn't work with touch screens - you know, the bit where you drag and drop the Hobbit names. I've received a few requests recently to update this (or replace it) and so, after a ...

Thanks everyone. It's been an incredibly tough year since his diagnosis and, even though we knew it was coming, it was still an unbelievable shock for everyone in the family when he died.
