The Boar should definitely not be S5. Combining that with Burly on a cav model would be insane.

After reading through it, I feel like the individual factions are a little too complicated. I liked that you always had the same starting point, and I liked that all the profiles were the official ones. I do like the non-random reinforcements, but it just seems a little too complex IMO.

I've used him a few times, and one time he charged Gimli, rolled 4 1s and then got held up by Gimli for a couple turns before finally killing Gimli and getting killed by a bunch of Khazads. Meanwhile, Bolg slaughtered a LOT of dwarves. Bolg then attacked Durin, who was out of might and fate. Bolg ha...

Way too complicated. I legit couldn't finish reading all of those rules, there's more here than the Mumak has.

Culture means faction, race is race (although species would be more accurate).

I think that "evil" dwarves aren't really evil, they're just mercenaries working for someone who happens to be evil. If they ever decided to do "evil" dwarves, I think that they would have to do it in such a way that they can ally with certain factions on both sides. For instance...

It is exceedingly clear that strikes are only made in the combat phase. You ONLY double ATTACKS against trapped enemies, so you get strikes equal to double your attack value. Shots and attacks are completely different. Shots require a to hit roll, attacks and strokes do not. The only similarity is t...

There is a distinct difference between a shot and an attack. Shots don't care whether you are prone or not, they only ever get 1 chance at wounding. Attacks get doubled when you strike a prone model, which is why a model with one attack makes two strikes against prone models.

Unfortunately the Silmarillion isn't happening until Christoper Tolkien dies. He won't let that happen in his lifetime. Peter Jackson has also made it clear he didn't want to direct the Hobbit, much less anything that might come after. If anything does happen in the future, he will most likely produ...

*Warning, the following is a wall of purely speculative text* So we know that the hobby is officially changing to "Middle-Earth SBG" and we have a decent idea of what GW is going to be doing for the next 4 years. This has gotten me thinking about the films themselves. We know that GW's has...

Goblin-town is almost directly East of Rivendell, while Moria is quite a ways South. I believe that it took the dwarves just a couple days to get to the High Pass, while it took the Fellowship about a month to get to Caradhras. Since they both started in Rivendell, the distance is pretty far.

Tolkien wrote out pretty good timelines of events, I haven't checked in a while, but I'm pretty sure the appendices contain those timelines and it would definitely be easier and more accurate to use them. I say this because the LotR wiki is often very inaccurate.

Have you read the books? They will be a lot more helpful than wiki articles. All the wiki articles do is gather all the stuff from the Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, the Silmarillion and the Appendices. Tolkien laid out the whole history much better than anonymous wiki users can, trust me.

I really want a BoFA starter set that includes 12 militia, 12 elves and 12 dwarves versus 24 orcs and a couple ogres. $150 would be pretty fair for that and would probably sell pretty well.

It would have been easier to censor the email if you had just cropped it lol. Would have been much easier than using MS Paint.

The Battle of the Last Alliance featured all kinds of men, dwarves and every elven Soldier on Middle-Earth.
