Banners are invaluable. Do not drop it. Worth the points every time. On foot with a shield should make him harder to kill and he'll also influence more of your army. |

Chariots generally aren't worth taking, the bigger base means you are less likely to be able to charge in all of them in one go. The kings are good on a chariot, but I would leave his warrior friends behind (unless you want to be fluffy). Khamul on a Fellbeast is a good leader. Very killy, can regen... |

Best way to use him is probably on a Fellbeast. The 60mm base means his Pall of Darkness rule covers more models. Also makes him slightly more resilient to bow fire and ringwraith hunting heroes. If you are going against him, Galadriel is a great shout with Banish. Leggy is good, Ori surprisingly is... |

it is also worth noting that no pure hobbit era army has won a 100 GBHL event (except Jay's laketown hoard which had Gandalf and Saruman in). LotR armies are still the predominant winners overall. Most of the TABA armies have serious weaknesses. Azog's Legion, as an example, has no ranged weapons ou... |

Rivendell Knights are like the swiss army knife of SBG. They can literally do and use anything. They just suffer the -1 to duel as per normal banner rules. Illogical yes, but legal. |

The heroic channel doesn't happen first. It happens when it is the caster's turn to move. |

Convert one? I took the horn off a Mahud beastmaster and stuck it on a hunter orc so he looked like he was tooting a tune. |

£22? So expensive *rolls eyes*
We clamour for OOP models to be re-sold, we clamour for new models to be made yet people always moan about pricing.
I bet the new MESBG team feel so appreciated reading comments like that. |

No weapon shown = no weapon strikes. Simples.
(also don't take the GBHL as gospel, they are known to get things wrong from time to time ) |

Hey buddy,
There are a few players in cardiff. In fact, the GBHL league finale is in cardiff this year so you should try and get along to that. If you haven't already, join the GBHL facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/472128942815892/

That used to be in the advanced rules section of the ORB. I'm not sure it made the transition to the new hobbit book. Even so, if it is in the adv rules section, it means it is optional so can only be used with your opponents prior permission before the game starts. |

I would say buy the models, because they are made from FW, so you can show the new company that they are doing the right thing. Also one or two houses are not very usefull, but a miniature can always be integrated into your army. He means an actual house vs minis, not the mini house vs other minis.... |
