Thanks for the heads-up. WD usually takes a month or so to hit the shelves here in my part of Australia. I'm not sure if the local Warhammer shop is even open though in the midst of all this craziness.

It's heartening to see that the truly essential services are opening again - Games Workshop!

In my home town, my local games shop (The Lost Dice) has managed to stay open throughout the crisis - and the added bonus is that they make the best coffee in town too.

It's great to see the enthusiasm for the return of the Tomes. I have a back-up of the articles, but some of the later ones might not be there - I can't recall exactly when the site was was hacked and we had to rebuild everything. My backup is quite old, but I will bring back as many articles as I po...

Hi guys, I'm looking at trying to get our article library back online - some of you may remember the painting, sculpting and terrain making guides we used to host. Fixing them isn't a trivial task and it might mean the site is unavailable for a while. I plan on working on this over the next couple o...

Red Devil's workaround will surely be blocked by the bell-ends at PhotoBucket when they become aware of it, so it's not a long-term solution. The best thing is to identify the critical images and save them locally on our personal computers. Then we can figure out how to host them in something run by...

exactly what happened to the site?

I wish I knew. I think the hosting company upgraded their servers and it broke our forum software, but I doubt we'll ever know for sure.

I don't have an unpainted Bill the Pony, so I will attempt a mounted hero instead.

I bought the Tantive IV and the Rebel Transport recently, oh and a Tie Bomber and Kyle Katarn's ship*. Um, no, I'm not addicted. I can't actually say I want much of the new stuff though. For me it's about recreating those iconic battles from the original trilogy and, while the Scum and Villainy ship...

The Hogfather looks very jolly... and other words ending in 'olly.' The two Doctors are pretty nice figures - very 1980s style (which I like), as are much of the old Harelquin range that BTD produce. And I love the patchwork painting on the 6th Doctor's coat. Well done. I will invest in some more of...

Sedum? Really? That stuff grows in the garden of my old house (but not my new one). I will hunt some down tomorrow from the local garden center.

Thanks. I have a dalek (just one) from Black Tree Designs, but I was curious about these newer minis - they're very good (and well painted too).

I'm about to import all of the data for the Gallery now. Wish me luck. It is from a backup I took once the problems started, so if you've uploaded any images since 6 Sept, I'm afraid you have lost them. EDIT: A few hours later... the galleries are back I think. Certainly, I can see mine. I'll do som...
