he's really menacing! and masterly painted! I like this mild blue, it will make him appear nearly invisible against skies or rocks.

Superb, you have caught his facial expression as a master would, great work...on second thoughts, paste this comment at random places in your entire gallery. Real inspirational stuff.

I really like that one but here is a suggestion for a Mk.2 version: Thorin carried Orcrist, twin sword to Glamdring, after he, Gandalf, Bilbo and the rest recovered these (and Sting) on the way to Rivendell. Imagine the profile for that! Great mini, and fantastic paintjob (as usual!)

He looks great - very nice conversion and excellent painting. Can't wait to see how you paint the rest of the company! :)

Superb painting Dave!
The conversion is awesome, as always, but it's the painting that is impressing me so much in your more recent models.
Just that face alone, look at it! I don't know how to describe that expression, but it is perfect for the pose and it makes him look so alive! I think "grim determination" comes the closest to it, as there is clearly resolve in that look, but there is more, perhaps a hint of sadness that it has come to this. Outstanding!

That's a beautiful one, if you may say such a thing about a dwarf. The expression on his face is so lifelike.

I can't add any more that hasn't already been said.
I especially admire the color choices in your work.
The whole gallery is fantastic!
